RV training in Las Vegas

Has anyone done the "live" RV training with Major Ed Dames? it looks interesting. Several years back I ordered the training kit (Gen 1) and a few years later the Gen II tape set. I found that the Gen I was informative, but difficult without good monitoring, or guidance.
Gen II is in a word, "boring!" darn thing puts me to sleep. I've recently dug it out of the closet, and while reviewing the tapes, I get the same conclusion- more boring! and unfortuantely the company that produced the tapes began to charge a high price for guidance and monitoring.

As Major Dames is the original RV'r, I am considering attending the RV course the he's holding in Las Vegas next month.
what'cha think? DVD's just as good?
